Honestly, the entire atmosphere of this is great. I am curious as to why his armor is distintegrating on the left shoulder pauldron, unless it's from a near-miss of some sort of incendiary weapon that didn't quite hit near enough to its target.

The overall feel is one I can relate to... worn out, just staring at nothing in particular, but never letting go of the grip of your weapon. Your armor design is also very good... it's not overly robust, but designed more along the lines of covering the vitals and making sure it remains flexible enough for fast, close-quarters entries. All in all, a great picture.

that helmet is the best. the eye scar plus how it looks like the recon helmet from halo 3!
